About the People & Culture Team (PACT):The People & Culture team collaborates across the Academy to build a thriving culture and deeply connect employees to our purpose. Key ResponsibilitiesManages the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs across core functional groups.Evaluates jobs and conducts pay reviews for proper placement in job and salary structures, including FLSA reviews. Provides advice to recruiting team, managers, and business partners on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations and offers, while ensuring equity.Oversees the participation in salary surveys and monitors salary survey data to ensure compensation objectives are achieved.Tracks the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommends cost-effective changes consistent with compensation trends and Academy objectives.May participate in system implementations, upgrades, and reporting as it relates to total rewardsDesign, manage and administer benefits, well-being, and perks programs including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, commuter benefits, COBRA, and wellness benefits.Communicate with brokers, 3rd party vendors to set benefits strategy, negotiate plans and resolve benefit related issues.Manages benefits enrollment, communications, and reconciliation processes. Ensures compliance with federal, state and local compensation and benefit laws and regulations, and completion of relevant regulatory reporting and audit projects.Demonstrates commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within compensation frameworks, with a focus on ensuring fair and equitable pay across all demographic groups.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.Qualifications:Experience and/or Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field, will have at least five years of experience administering compensation and benefits programs. SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and Certified Compensation Professional credentials preferred.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels.Successful track record of managing Total Rewards for standard and unique jobs related to our industry.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders verbally, in writing, and through impactful presentations.Ability to create detailed reports from various HR data sources. High level proficiency with Excel(e. g., v-lookups, pivot tables, if/then formulas) and Google Sheets.Advocates for promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility through fair pay practices, bias mitigation, and fosters an inclusive culture around rewards.Physical Environment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, use a computer, and communicate on the phone, in person, and online meetings/calls. Must be able to perform repetitive motions 90% of the time. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
